Who I Am
Trained to Master Class level in Ireland and the UK with internationally recognised glass artists.
In 2012 I set up my business, Keith Sheppard Glass Artistry to create unique and stylised Irish glassware and glass sculpture pieces that reflect my creative sensibilities and experience.
My glassware studio is located in a large old country estate, in rural County Armagh, in the beautiful Northern Ireland countryside.
My fused glass, functional and non-functional tableware, vessels, indoor and outdoor glass sculptures and wall art feature in galleries and other craft outlets across the island of Ireland and the U.K.
Most notably at:
Guinness Gallery in Dublin
Kilkenny Design Centre, Kilkenny,
Craft NI Gallery, Belfast,
1608 Gallery, Bushmills
The renowned Cecilia Colman Gallery, London.
I also feature on the Design Ireland, Design and Craft Council of Ireland (DCCI) websites and in May 2021, as part of the DCCI Portfolio, I was selected as one of the top 100 artists across all craft disciplines in the island of Ireland.
I have also exhibited my fine art glasswork in London, Dublin and at home, here in Northern Ireland.
Recently I was been involved in creating individual unique sculptural pieces for galleries and private commissions including a 1.7m glass angel. I also produced the Ulster Tatler awards 2018 and 2019 and pieces from my Scandza Collection feature at Kilkenny Design Centre.
I continue to invest heavily in progressive training, research and development of my artistic practice, enhancing my contemporary work aesthetic, and innovating the styles and quality of my original glass art designs.
While most of my work is functional, each of my Irish glassware and glass sculpture pieces are individual pieces of art.
I hope that you enjoy viewing a small selection of my work which is available for purchase.
If there is any particular item not shown, or you have an idea for a personalised piece, feel free to get in touch and I’d be happy to bring it to life for you.
